I can hardly believe my little girl turned 5 today. It seems like yesterday I was lifting her out of her crib. She's growing into such an amazing person and every year (every day!) she becomes more and more her own person. It's hard to stand by and watch her need me less and less but I know that the healthiest way to raise a child is to raise them to be independent. We had a great day.. in our new home...with all (most of) our friends there to help celebrate: rainbow nail polish, hairspray, face paint, cake, pinata, balloons... what more could you ask for!! Teagan apparently wants it all over again next year! Fine with me!
