Meet Jori - she's just 4 weeks old. Now usually 4 weeks is not my favorite time to photograph babies. All ages are cute and all ages have something so capture that will disappear in a blink of an eye so I'm happy photographing any age.. but 4 weeks is not my favorite. Why? well, it's sort of an in between stage... no longer a sleeping newborn, but not yet holding up their little heads or doing tummy time. However, Jori was an amazing exception to the 'rule'. Look at how perfect she is. She slept on cue, woke calm (once fed of course) and proceeded to be the perfect little model all morning. I love B&W images... but with Jori the colors in the house and all that black hair just called out for color! It was a great session all round. Mom and dad were terrific too!!
