Today I drove out to the Berkshires, Lee MA, to meet Wyatt - who was a week late in arriving! The 2 hour drive through beautiful landscape was a welcome break in the busy weeks I've had. It was lovely to have the time to listen to music, drive and think about life. Seems like there's never enough time for things like this any more. I had photographed mom and dad before Wyatt was born - they are the great couple who's maternity session was at the Four Seasons when they were visiting Boston. That was a great session and I was really looking forward to meeting the baby. Wyatt was great too!! Just 6 days old, little muppet, and SO amazingly laid back.
He went about 3 hours without fussing or crying (although you can see I did manage to capture one crying shot at the very end!). He was awake most of the session which allowed us to get some really wonderful alert images - not so common in a 6 day old. Mom and dad looked great! Except for the part where Wyatt pooed all over dad the session was near to perfect!
He's so adorable! I can't wait to meet him. Jacquie, I feel the same way about the 2 hour drive!
