First outdoor session of the session was celebrated by Katie turning one! Now, I've been photographing Katie and her family since she was just 10 days old so seeing her on her first birthday was very special. She was VERY curious about the whole 'outside' thing and had fun exploring pine cones (okay well, maybe eating them would be a better description!). She's still finding her feet but was a brave little one year old making her way up the stone steps (mom and dad close behind mind you). They had a neat idea to use a picture frame as a prop so we brought one along to see how it would work. I LOVE it when you guys have new ideas for me to try!!!
All in all it was a beautiful day for Katie's first and for my first outdoor session of the spring. Looking forward to many more and the days get warmer and longer!
