As you know, I volunteer for Horizon's whenever I get the chance, doing about 4 - 5 events a year as well as working with the team there to photograph the children. A few weeks ago was their 11th annual Women's Breakfast. It was inspirational and moving to say the least. This year the event was emceed by WCVB-TV's Chronicle co-anchor Mary Richardson and featured Michele Norris, host of NPR's All Things Considered.
The Women's Breakfast brought together almost 1,100 people and raised almost $600,000 for the critical programs and services.
It was wonderful to be part of such an amazing group of people and I'm very proud to say that this year SPECTOR PHOTOGRAPHY sponsored a table. This for me was a huge thing - to be able to donate and raise funds to help kids in need.
