This posting it has to be about Maine. I just love Maine. It's one of the things that made coming back from London easier for me. We were lucky enough to go stay with friends up on Mt Desert Island. If you've never been it's well worth the 6-hour drive from Boston. It has everything... lobster, mountains, lobster, ice-cream, lakes, biking, lobster, hiking, sailboats..did I mention lobster? We went for 4th of July and the rain held off for most of the weekend. Teagan had a blast running around the top of Cadillac Mountain. You can see how foggy it was so we couldn't actually see the view but she was content collecting flowers and leaves and rocks and sticks and....well anything she could fit into MY pockets! We ate a lot of ice-cream (blueberry what else) and lobster - YUMMMMMM. Our hosts have the most adorable cat named Scotty. He's a Scottish Fold (I'd never heard of this kind before) and he was SOOOOO cute with his little ears folded back. Needless to say, I'm now on the look out for one for our family!
