Wow - can you believe I got back last night and already have my blog post up! So proud. I have been away for 2 weeks and have had the most wonderful 'end of summer'. The first week was on the Jersey Shore with my sisters, their families and my dad and step mom. I had to show off my amazing nieces and nephews! Aren't they amazing? The weather was supposed to be horrible but it turned out just about perfect. We did A LOT of swimming in VERY big waves - scary at times. I had to hold on to Teagan most of the time so she wouldn't get swept away! It was great to catch up with my family and spend some time with the kids. My eldest nephew has his driving permit - gulp! They are wonderful kids and if I can manage to raise Teagan half as successfully as my sisters are raising their kids I'll be lucky
After NJ I headed down to DC to see my mom. Just me...that was nice. Quite and calm after the crazy week. Mom had her second hip replaced and I went down to help out her and my step dad.
I've said it before but my mom is awesome. She was off her walker and using a cane within a week of the operation. I'm in awe of her.
It's great to be back, the up coming week is booked solid as is most of September and I can't wait to get into the fall season!! I hope you've all had a great summer. Take care this weekend and stay safe!!
