I have to say that some days are just better than others. Today was one of those days. I drove an hour and a half (should have been an hour but traffic was terrible) down to Duxbury to meet Jamie, Chris and baby Ava for her first portrait session. Ava is 3 1/2 months old. Can anyone say that she is not THE cutest thing alive. Look at that hair, those eyes... she was amazing. Ava spent the whole session just staring at me with those GIGANTIC blue eyes. .. no fussing, no crying, no trouble (okay, well she did pee on dad, but he took it well). And if she wasn't perfect enough, the setting for our session was stunning. Right on the water and a beautiful spring day. We did do most of the session inside as I prefer to capture the little ones with as little clothing as possible.. but we did get out at the end to soak up the sun and the cool breeze. Jamie and Chris are the nicest, most laid back people and parents ever! What a terrific day all round. The portfolio came out amazing and I can't wait for our next session when Ava's sitting up and we can get out into that tall grass!
