Rylan was 4 weeks old and did not want to sleep. He was so awake and so wanting to be part of what was going on. Mom, grandma and I sat for hours waiting for him to nod off. As you can see, finally, his little eyes got heavy and despite fighting it he eventually drifted off. He could not have been cuter.
Rylan is such an unusual name I had to look it up. Turns out Rylan is an variant of Ryland, which is Old English. Rylan means 'land where rye is grown'. It's considered a very rare first and last name and was really only started being used in the mid 1990s.
