The Peanut Butter & Jelly Dance Company in Brookline is run by Miss Jeanne. I cannot say enough great things about the program! She runs classes for 3 – 5 year olds, which are fun, creative and entertaining. ALL the kids dance; there are no lap sitters or clingy kids. Miss Jeanne uses concepts such as ‘loose and stiff’, ‘curved and straight’ or ‘high and low’ and incorporates them into dance stories. Last week the kids danced out a story about magic pasta and the monsters that were chasing them around the kitchen – brilliant!! The other great thing about the class is you are welcome to bring the little siblings. The adjoining room to the dance studio looks like a massive baby play date.
