Tait Turns One!!

Tait turned one 2 days before our session and we had a great time celebrating with mom, dad and even grandma and grandpa! Now, every house I enter is filled with the joy and love that comes with the arrival of a new baby. Couples become families over night and one of the things I love about my job is that I get to be part of all that excitement and happiness. Sometimes I enter a home that is so filled with joy it's hard to leave at the end of the shoot. This was one of those sessions. The smiles, love, good will and pure happiness was so moving and so wonderful to experience that you can't help but leave feeling inspired. Tait is a lucky, lucky little man indeed. We took a few breaks during the session as we often do and mom and dad pulled out Tait's newest present. A great little parachute! See below under "I LOVE IT.." to learn more!

HIGHTLIGHT SESSION - WELCOME AMELIE JADE

oh my ... how adorable is this little bundle??? Only 14 days old and SOOO alert! She was amazing. Eyes wide open happy to be held and to pose! She was just perfect.. until we wanted her to sleep. Bless her. She was so interested in what was going on the last thing she wanted to do was close her eyes. Being held was all she wanted! We tried and tried to get her to sleep in the glove.. but she wanted daddy so once he put on the glove and gently swooped her up she was happy as.. well.. as new born baby full of cuddles! Great session, great baby!

A BIT ABOUT ME... T turns 4

Well, it's hard to believe that my little mouse is 4 years old! Seems like yesterday she was a baby and I was try to squeeze editing shoots around nursing. Now she's coming with me! I try every year to take a 'birthday' photo to keep as a marker of the passing year. This year I decided to try West Beach up in Beverly. I borrowed a skirt from my sister and we headed up to the beach. It was a bit chilly that day and T was saying she had a bit of a sore throat... so....just to show you that we all make mistakes and we all do things without thinking... I gave her a hard candy to suck on during the shoot. Smart move! Take a look at the photos.. see anything funny? Poor kid has a big cheek in every shot! oh my. I did the best I could with the images but I've learned my lesson - the hard way - NO HARD CANDY during photo shoots! Got that everyone!

She was, however, a terrific sport about the whole thing.
